Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP is hiring an experienced Staff Accountant for its Atlanta office to support the firm’s accounting function and report to the Controller. The role handles basic accounting processes, monthly closings, general ledger and trust-account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, work-in-progress reconciliation, COBRA tracking, and regular reporting. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related program, or 10 plus years of accounting experience, along with strong accuracy, communication, confidentiality, analytical, and Excel skills.
