Welltower is hiring a Staff Accountant - Development to support accounting and reporting for development and construction projects. The role records and reconciles construction costs, capital expenditures, project accruals, fixed assets, development loans, and development costs; assists with consolidated financial statements, SEC filings, GAAP compliance, internal controls, working papers, and process improvements; and analyzes project costs against budgets. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, 1–3 years of public or corporate accounting experience, and Excel proficiency; CPA and GAAP/IFRS knowledge are preferred.
