D-Wave is hiring a Staff AI Platform Developer to lead the architecture and production implementation of internal AI tooling across its Product Development teams. The role focuses on LLM applications, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, workflow automation, model evaluation, guardrails, security, cost tracking, and adoption across engineering teams. It requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least seven years of relevant software or platform engineering experience, extensive LLM-stack and agentic orchestration expertise, and strong backend and DevOps capabilities. The role offers a base salary of 167,000–230,000 CAD per year in Canada or 167,000–230,000 USD per year in the United States.
