Description

Intuit is seeking a Staff AI Scientist to define and build foundational language models and agentic systems for financial intelligence. The role combines technical leadership, research in pretraining, fine-tuning, reasoning, and agentic architectures, end-to-end production pipelines, and mentorship of scientists and engineers. It requires a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a relevant field, experience with LLMs and foundation models, strong Python and ML skills, and the ability to influence technical direction across teams.

Additional Information

Experience with LLMs, multimodal, or foundation models, including pretraining, fine-tuning, and deployment
Building end-to-end AI pipelines from experimentation to production at scale
Influencing technical direction across multiple teams and mentoring scientists and engineers
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with RL fine-tuning or model-based reinforcement learning
Background in financial, accounting, or business-domain AI, probabilistic forecasting, or world models
Publications at top machine learning venues or meaningful open-source contributions
