Description
D-Wave is hiring a Staff Algorithms Researcher for its Algorithms, Performance, and Tools team. The role leads research and development in quantum computing, including graph-theoretical mapping algorithms, hybrid quantum-classical algorithms, benchmarking, system characterization, experimental analysis, and scalable benchmarking frameworks. The researcher will independently define and execute complex initiatives, evaluate scientific literature, collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, and provide technical leadership and mentorship. Candidates need a master's or PhD in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience, at least seven years of relevant research and development experience, deep graph-theory knowledge, and strong Python and C++ proficiency.
