Description
Alpaca is hiring an Analytics Engineer to own and execute its data transformation layer. The role builds scalable, high-quality data models using dbt and SQL on a GCP-based infrastructure, supports financial reporting and operational metrics, integrates models with BI and reverse ETL systems, and establishes standards for data quality, testing, monitoring, CI/CD, and version control. The position is 100% remote and requires at least four years of analytics or data engineering experience focused on the transformation layer, along with SQL, dbt, Python, query optimization, semantic modelling, and cloud experience.
