Description
The Staff Application Engineer will support the Worldwide Regional Applications group in Bangalore by applying FPGA technology to 5G architecture, including core, RAN, and edge solutions. The role focuses on virtualization, performance optimization, security, DSP algorithm design and debugging, and programming in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB. Responsibilities include handling customer escalations, collaborating with field teams and distributors, contributing to development projects and reference designs, delivering training, and communicating technical trade-offs. The position requires a BS/MS/PhD in Electronics, Electrical, or Software Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience in 5G, DSP, architecture, design, or implementation.
