Renesas Electronics is hiring a Staff Applications Engineer to develop and qualify DC-DC power converter products for mobile end markets, with emphasis on VCORE controller and SPS products in Taiwan. The role covers the full product development cycle, including requirements translation, validation, characterization, test automation, reporting, customer-facing technical documentation, silicon bring-up, and configuration of GUI, firmware, and PMBus. Candidates must have a BS+7, MS+5, or PhD+3 in the power management industry, experience with multiphase controllers or SPS powering Intel/AMD/SoC systems, and proficiency with power converter theory, lab equipment, PCB CAD, circuit simulation, and mixed-signal IC systems.
