Description
Arm is hiring a Staff Applications Engineer specializing in Performance Analysis to support customers and software partners in deploying and optimizing workloads on Arm AGI CPU platforms and other Arm SoC products. The role involves diagnosing performance bottlenecks, analyzing CPU, memory, cache, storage, I/O, and NUMA behavior, conducting benchmarks, and recommending workload optimizations. It also requires collaboration with architecture, silicon, firmware, kernel, compiler, and software ecosystem teams, contributing to performance methodologies, and mentoring junior engineers. The position requires a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, performance engineering or systems engineering experience, Linux performance analysis and programming skills, and strong customer-facing communication.
