Description
Engine is hiring a Staff Security Engineer to own the security and integrity of its applications and software systems. The role leads vulnerability management and application security, manages SIEM alerting and threat detection, performs security reviews and light penetration testing, maintains CI/CD-based container vulnerability pipelines, supports incident response and forensics, and advocates secure practices across engineering teams. Candidates should have strong programming and cloud/container security expertise, including SIEM, Docker, Kubernetes, SAST/DAST/IAST, OWASP and secure coding knowledge, and experience with SOC 2 or PCI compliance. The role offers a base salary of $182,800–$215,000 USD, equity, and a hybrid-hub work model.
