Synopsys is hiring a Staff Applications Engineer, Digital Implementation in Penang, Malaysia to serve as the primary technical advisor for customers using its RTL-to-GDS solution. The role focuses on customer onboarding, technical evaluations, benchmarking, production deployments, and troubleshooting across synthesis, physical implementation, and signoff flows. The engineer will collaborate with Applications Engineering, R&D, and Product Management to improve methodologies and influence tool development, with strong emphasis on RTL-to-GDS expertise, advanced node design, PPA optimization, signoff closure, and scripting automation.
