Braze is hiring a Staff Applied Scientist for its Predictive and Generative AI team to build and ship ML and AI-enhanced marketing solutions from model training and pipelines through high-throughput APIs. The role owns technical vision and quality for the ML platform, leads complex initiatives across teams, mentors senior engineers and data scientists, and connects technical decisions to customer and business outcomes. Candidates need at least 8 years of production ML systems experience, hands-on model and pipeline development, distributed systems expertise, and experience with frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow. The position offers a starting annual salary of $184,000 to $299,812 for candidates based in the United States, with an expected on-target earnings range of $204,000 to $332,400.
