Garner is hiring a Staff Applied Researcher to join its Applied Science team and build algorithmic systems that evaluate healthcare providers, recommend care, and optimize outcomes across cost, quality, and access. The role owns problems end-to-end, from defining objectives and metrics through production and performance monitoring, and may work on provider tiering, an LLM-based primary-care experience, and a member-engagement model. It is based in Garner’s New York City Financial District office with three days per week in the office, and requires 6+ years of relevant industry experience or 4+ years with a relevant advanced degree. The target base compensation is $260,000–$382,000, with equity and medical, dental, and vision plan options.
