Description
Scentbird is hiring a Staff Platform Architect to own platform architecture and AI enablement across its engineering organization. The role leads system design, APIs, data contracts, messaging, cloud-native infrastructure, and AI-augmented workflows; sets cross-team architectural standards; and directly manages and mentors a two-person platform team. It requires 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3–4 years in a principal, staff, or platform architecture role, along with deep Java expertise, distributed systems knowledge, and hands-on experience with modern LLM technologies. The position is for overseas applicants only and requires at least four hours of daily overlap with New York.
