Description
The Staff Attorney - Survivor Services provides direct, trauma-informed legal services and immigration representation to LGBTQI+ survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and related violence. The role handles civil protection matters, immigration relief, civil rights remedies, housing rights, court and administrative proceedings, client intakes, safety planning, case coordination, policy advocacy, community education, and data reporting. It is a 100% full-time exempt position reporting to a Supervising Attorney, with no formal supervisory authority, and requires at least three years of relevant direct legal experience, knowledge of the specified legal areas, and an active California State Bar License.
