Description
The Staff Attorney will support the Office of Special Masters by responding to case inquiries, reviewing and drafting legal documents, preparing reports and memoranda, researching legal issues, and managing attorney-fee and cost applications under the Vaccine Act. The role includes drafting decisions, orders, scheduling orders, fact rulings, and entitlement or damages decisions; conducting status conferences; performing legal research and analysis; and providing staff support for court events. Applicants must be admitted to practice before the highest court of a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or Possession, have a law-school degree, and possess two years of specialized experience, including at least one year equivalent to the CL-27 level.
