The Children's Law Center is hiring a Staff Attorney to represent children in custody, visitation, guardianship, paternity, family offense, and related child protective proceedings. The role maintains a caseload from intake through trial, handles court appearances, prepares cases, develops legal strategy, negotiates resolutions, and collaborates with paralegals, social workers, and other teams. The position requires New York State bar admission, advocacy and interviewing skills, and experience working independently and collaboratively; it offers a full-time hybrid schedule and an annual salary range of $86,700 to $140,472.21.
