Bet Tzedek Legal Services is hiring a Staff Attorney I for its Homeowner Protection Team in the Los Angeles area. The attorney will provide direct representation and civil litigation, client advice, disaster-recovery assistance, community outreach and education, policy advocacy, pro bono coordination, and case/grant management involving homeowner protection matters such as foreclosure, real estate fraud, PACE, predatory lending, contractor fraud, and elder financial abuse. California Bar membership is required; at least one year of legal practice and relevant consumer, foreclosure, real estate, debtor-rights, elder-abuse, insurance, probate, or litigation experience are preferred. The role is hybrid/remote eligible for candidates located in Southern California, with required travel within Los Angeles County. Salary is $75,395.03–$86,902.80 annually, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
