Description
Chef Robotics is hiring a Staff Autonomy Engineer to own the end-to-end architecture and hands-on development of its autonomy stack, covering perception, action prediction, closed-loop control, sensor fusion, and production deployment. The role also involves building rapid onboarding capabilities, production monitoring, reliability improvements, research integration, and mentoring senior engineers. It is a hands-on technical leadership position reporting to engineering leadership, requiring experience shipping autonomy or manipulation systems, expertise in at least two relevant technical areas, and strong Python and C++ software engineering skills. The role is onsite five days per week and includes medical, dental, and vision insurance.
