Inversion is hiring a Staff Avionics Engineer to lead the architecture and implementation of flight-computer and other compute systems for its Arc spacecraft. The role covers spacecraft hardware testing, clean-sheet design, digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuit design, rugged electronic assemblies, environmental qualification, trade studies, and flight-software architecture. It requires a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least 8 years of spacecraft or launch-vehicle compute-electronics experience, advanced circuit and signal-integrity skills, fault-tolerant electronics experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government Secret or Top Secret clearance. The position is based in Playa Vista, California, requires in-office presence, and offers a California annual base salary of $161,000 to $221,000.
