Adobe is hiring a Staff Backend Engineer to act as a founding engineer for a new agentic AI product. The role focuses on architecting and scaling backend services, APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and runtime infrastructure for machine-learning-powered autonomous agents, including LLM integration, vector databases, knowledge retrieval, orchestration, state management, monitoring, and secure distributed systems. Candidates need 10+ years of enterprise software development experience, strong Python backend skills, agentic AI and ML experience, cloud and containerization expertise, database knowledge, and a relevant computer science or engineering degree or equivalent experience.
