Parser is hiring a Staff Backend Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of a greenfield customer fulfillment platform. The role focuses on high-performance microservices, distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, event-driven architecture, latency management, APIs, and warehouse operations, while also establishing technical standards, diagnosing complex issues, and mentoring junior engineers. The position requires deep Java 21, Spring Boot, Kafka, SQL, NoSQL, cloud, and container expertise, and follows a hybrid model requiring three days per week at the Welwyn Garden City office.
