Description
Posh is hiring a Staff Backend Engineer to set technical direction for backend systems, own architecture across multiple services, write production code, improve scalability and reliability, reduce technical debt, build security and observability, and mentor engineers. The role requires 8+ years of backend engineering experience, expertise in APIs, data modeling, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture, and proficiency with technologies such as Java, Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and AWS. It is an in-person role at Posh’s New York City office in SoHo.
