Description
Verkada is hiring a Staff Backend Engineer to own the double-entry accounting ledger that reconciles licensing into daily revenue recognition. The role designs and leads systems for pay-as-you-go metering, billing, fixed-term commitments, and enterprise packaging; builds reconciliation and audit controls; partners with Finance, Accounting, Revenue, and Product; and leads major features with technical direction, code reviews, documentation, and mentorship. The position requires 8+ years of backend experience, depth in financial or transactional systems, Python or Go fluency, and onsite presence five days per week in the United States.
