Description
Ford is hiring a Battery Modeling Engineer to develop and own battery physics and lifetime models for current and next-generation cells, integrate them with vehicle models, define thermal and pack requirements, support testing and roadmap scenarios, and correlate models with field vehicles. The role requires a master's degree in chemical, electrical, or related engineering, at least five years of cell-modeling experience, knowledge of lithium-ion and thermal systems, and proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or Simulink. It is a Level 6 leadership position with a base salary of $150,200–$283,500, hybrid onsite work of four or more days per week, and visa sponsorship available.
