Lyten is hiring a Staff Battery Engineer to lead pouch and prismatic cell design and development from concept through pilot production and manufacturing scale-up. The role covers cell design, optimization, validation, material and electrode selection, safety trade-offs, data analysis, design for manufacturability and assembly, qualification planning, and technical leadership across materials, process, quality, manufacturing, and customer projects. Candidates need a PhD or MSc in a relevant engineering or materials science field, extensive Li-ion and Li-S cell development and manufacturing experience, and strong data-analysis and degradation-modeling expertise. The position offers a base salary of $141,100 to $211,700 plus bonus, equity, healthcare, dental, vision, and other benefits.
