Description
OMNIVISION is hiring a Staff Characterization Engineer in Mechelen, Belgium. The role focuses on evaluating system and functional requirements, setting up image sensor evaluation systems, owning silicon bring-up, debugging and validating CMOS image sensor performance and functionality, and developing characterization methods and scientific approaches for R&D test data. The engineer will collaborate with design, test, product, application, and international characterization teams, support customer evaluations, and mentor junior engineers. Strong experience in CMOS image sensor characterization, electrical testing, statistical analysis, automated processing, and communication is required.
