Description

EQ Bank is hiring a Staff Cloud Engineer to serve as a senior technical expert supporting Microsoft cloud platforms, with responsibilities spanning Azure engineering, Power Platform governance and enablement, AKS and DevOps practices, and platform process improvement. The role reports to the Director, Cloud Operations, requires 8+ years of enterprise cloud, DevOps, or site reliability engineering experience, and is a full-time permanent hybrid position based at EQ Bank’s Toronto office.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Post-secondary education, preferably in technology
Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering in enterprise environments
Experience with Terraform or Bicep, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows
Experience supporting Power Platform governance, ALM, monitoring, and citizen development enablement
Experience designing secure and scalable AKS workloads and containerized platform services
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of GCP
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure, PaaS services, Power Platform, and AKS
