Description

Databricks is hiring a Staff Cloud Security Engineer to own and evolve the secure infrastructure, access patterns, and guardrails for its global data and AI platform. The role covers IAM and account lifecycle automation across AWS, Azure, and GCP; security data pipelines; compliance and audit evidence; regulated environments such as FedRAMP and GovCloud; and 24x7 on-call incident response. Candidates need a current TS/SCI clearance, a relevant advanced degree or equivalent practical experience, and 8+ years of large-scale cloud infrastructure and automation experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years operating and automating large-scale cloud environments and driving cross-team infrastructure improvement
Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including IAM, networking, accounts, subscriptions, projects, and audit logging
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar, and CI/CD for infrastructure changes
Experience working in or with security-sensitive or regulated environments and translating requirements into technical controls
Experience running high-availability, security-critical services, including on-call responsibilities and incident management
Preferred Qualifications: Current polygraph (Counterintelligence or Full Scope)
Experience with Okta, Opal, or similar identity/access tooling
Experience operating secure admin workstations or comparable hardened access patterns
Experience migrating cloud accounts or subscriptions during M&A or large-scale reorganizations
