Description
Zoox is hiring a Staff Compute & Controls Systems Engineer in Advanced Hardware Engineering to develop and document requirements for compute and control system modules, lead compute safety analyses including FMEDA, and support functional safety for autonomous vehicle hardware. The role requires systems-level design, validation, cross-functional collaboration, and analysis of compute architectures, communication protocols, sensors, power electronics, and failure modes. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree and at least 8 years of staff-level experience in automotive, autonomous vehicles, aerospace, robotics, or related systems engineering.
