Description
Form Energy is hiring a Staff Data Engineer to build and operate data systems for deployed energy-storage projects, including streaming and batch pipelines, time-series and event data, data orchestration, and AWS infrastructure. The role leads novel data solutions, partners with field operations and engineering teams, participates in on-call operations, and serves as a hands-on senior individual contributor and technical lead. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree, at least seven years of data or software engineering experience, strong production programming, and experience with Spark, dbt, Iceberg or Delta Lake, Kafka or Kinesis, orchestration frameworks, and AWS infrastructure-as-code. Relocation assistance is available, and the role is onsite.
