Workiva is hiring a Staff Data Engineer for its GRC Enablement team to own scalable data platforms, pipelines, modeling, quality, reliability, and compliance systems. The role covers Snowflake infrastructure, batch and real-time ingestion, Kafka streaming, dbt transformations, SQL optimization, data products, regulated release governance, security controls, and technical leadership. Candidates need at least five years of data or analytics engineering experience, hands-on dbt ownership, and a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent professional experience. The position offers a US salary range of $129,000 to $210,000, a discretionary annual bonus, restricted stock units, a 401(k) match, and comprehensive benefits, with flexible office or remote work and up to 10% travel.
