Machinify is hiring a Staff Data Engineer on the Migrations team to lead end-to-end client migrations, from reverse-engineering legacy ETL/SSIS/SQL Server logic through architecting and building production migration pipelines in Airflow, Spark, Python, SQL, and AWS. The role owns discovery, technical design, reconciliation, delivery, UAT, go-live, and hypercare while coordinating across Operations, Client Success, Product, Data Science, Platform Engineering, SMEs, and clients. The position is U.S.-remote, offers a competitive base salary of $230k-$260k plus equity and benefits, and requires deep hands-on data engineering experience with strong legacy system translation and data validation skills.
