The role involves building distributed data infrastructure, improving data access, integrating security and observability, troubleshooting complex systems, and developing AI-driven diagnostic systems. It requires 8+ years of experience in data infrastructure or backend software engineering, cloud and container expertise, distributed data processing, and programming in languages such as Python, Go, Java, Ruby, or C++. The engineer reports to the VP of Data and Architecture and collaborates with Data, Engineering, Product, and other teams.
