Description
Yoto is hiring a Staff Data Platform Engineer to own the architecture, reliability, and long-term health of its end-to-end data platform across GCP, BigQuery, ingestion, orchestration, and transformation. The role defines the data platform roadmap, sets standards for governance, access controls, data quality, and ownership, translates business requirements into platform capabilities, and manages a mid-level data engineer while raising technical capability across the wider data team. The position requires extensive data engineering or analytics engineering experience, production platform experience, and familiarity with GCP, BigQuery, Terraform, Kubernetes, Dagster, dlt, and dbt. It offers a hybrid arrangement with at least one day per week in the central London office and a salary of £80,000–£90,000.
