Arvo is hiring a Staff Data Scientist - AI4Data to lead end-to-end data and artificial intelligence initiatives focused on detecting fraud, abuse, and waste in healthcare payments. The role involves developing and validating statistical and machine learning models, designing and evaluating LLM-based solutions, structuring experiments, translating ambiguous business problems into analytical solutions, collaborating with data engineering, and communicating results to technical and business stakeholders. The position requires a relevant engineering, mathematics, statistics, or related degree, experience with statistical modeling and applied machine learning, Python, LLMs, and SQL, and offers a remote PJ contractor arrangement with health insurance, vacation benefits, and a VA/VR allowance.
