Description
FYUL is hiring a Staff Data Scientist to lead the technical direction and scaling of core AI capabilities across search, ranking, recommendations, generative AI, and visual machine learning. The role owns recommendation and retrieval architectures, image-generation and computer-vision pipelines, closed-loop model training, evaluation, A/B testing, and production serving, while collaborating with data science and machine learning engineering teams. It requires 8+ years of hands-on production ML experience, staff-level technical leadership, and expertise in Python, PyTorch, LLMs, agentic systems, MLOps, and cloud data warehouses. The position can be performed remotely or in the Riga office and includes private health insurance and other employee benefits.
