GoFundMe is hiring a Staff Data Scientist to lead high-impact data science initiatives across marketing, growth, and product. The role defines technical strategy, builds measurement and modeling frameworks, designs experiments and causal models, develops machine learning and adaptive experimentation solutions, partners with cross-functional teams, and mentors data scientists and analysts. Candidates must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area and work in-office three times per week. The position requires 8+ years of relevant experience, a master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field or equivalent applied experience, and strong expertise in statistics, causal inference, machine learning, SQL, and Python. The annual U.S. salary range is $179,500–$269,500, with equity and healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) benefits.
