Housecall Pro is hiring a Staff Database Engineer for its Site Reliability Engineering team in Poland. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable database systems; optimizing MySQL and PostgreSQL; implementing replication, partitioning, and sharding; troubleshooting production issues; and guiding database architecture, security, observability, backup, recovery, and compliance practices. Candidates need at least five years of experience with relational database systems in complex production environments, along with knowledge of database architecture, indexing, transactions, query optimization, infrastructure-as-code tools, and related engineering practices. Compensation is 9,400–11,800 USD per month on a B2B basis.
