Ford is hiring a Staff Embedded Software Engineer for its Model E Platform Architecture Engineering team to design and develop software for a microcontroller-based vehicle infotainment platform. The role covers vehicle access, networking, power management, diagnostics, tooling, integration, and field software analysis across complex electric-vehicle systems. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least 10 years of software engineering experience, embedded-systems development experience, and programming experience in C, C++, and Python, with RTOS, Linux, and concurrent-systems experience. The position is hybrid, requires onsite work four or more days per week, and offers a base salary of $150,200-$283,500 with visa sponsorship available.
