Ford is hiring a Staff Embedded Software Engineer for its Model E Platform Architecture Engineering team to design and develop the software stack for a next-generation electric vehicle infotainment platform. The role focuses on vehicle access, networking, power management, diagnostics, tooling, and integration across complex vehicle systems, with collaboration across hardware, systems, integration, UI/UX, and other teams. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least 10 years of software engineering experience, embedded systems development experience, and programming experience in C, C++, and Python. The position is hybrid, requires onsite work four or more days per week, and offers a base salary of $150,200-$283,500 with visa sponsorship available.
