Description
Zoox is hiring a Staff Electrical Architecture System Engineer to develop the electrical and electronic system architecture for its ground-up autonomous robotaxi. The role owns low-voltage power distribution, vehicle communication, power modes, and ECU function distribution requirements; collaborates with vehicle integration, firmware, and component teams; develops verification strategies; and performs root-cause analysis for field issues. Candidates need a BS or MS in electrical engineering or equivalent experience, 15 years of industry engineering experience, at least 10 years in vehicle electrical architectures and ECU hardware base definitions, and at least 3 years with model-based system engineering tools. The position includes base salary, RSUs, stock appreciation rights, and health insurance.
