Description
ChargePoint is hiring a Principal Engineer, Systems Engineering to lead the electrical system architecture, design, testing, and manufacturing of high-voltage DC fast chargers. The role owns subsystem boundaries, cross-disciplinary interfaces, DFMEA, protection-device selection, fault-response strategies, hardware and firmware testing, and hardware troubleshooting. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline, 7 to 10 years of experience with 208–600 VAC and up to 1000 VDC systems, and experience leading complex hardware programs through volume production. The position is based in Campbell, California, with a targeted base salary of $150,000 to $180,000.
