Description
Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is hiring a Staff Electrical Systems Hardware Engineer to own the architecture and integration of several electrical domains on US-based automotive programs. The role covers low- and high-voltage power distribution, harness strategy, zonal topology, LV power architecture, requirements decomposition, supplier and internal interface definition, hardware-driven software requirements, schematic review, and validation across unit, SIL, HIL, and vehicle-level testing. Candidates need a BS in electrical or computer engineering, approximately 8 or more years of automotive or comparable complex embedded electrical systems experience, and expertise in LV/HV power systems, wiring harness design, vehicle networks, and ISO 26262 functional safety.
