Shield AI is hiring a Staff Electromechanical Systems Advance Manufacturing Engineer to lead manufacturing engineering for complex electromechanical subsystems and assemblies across aerospace and defense platforms. The role covers process development, tooling, work instructions, DFM/DFA reviews, supplier qualification, production readiness, root-cause analysis, quality standards, system integration, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need at least seven years of electromechanical manufacturing engineering experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, prototype manufacturing experience, and expertise with actuators, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, and mechanical-electrical integration.
