Voi is hiring a Staff Embedded Engineer to lead the architecture and evolution of its large-scale distributed vehicle and IoT platform. The role combines hands-on embedded and firmware development with technical leadership across vehicle control systems, battery-powered IoT devices, multi-MCU/MPU platforms, edge machine learning, OTA infrastructure, remote diagnostics, observability, and fleet reliability. Responsibilities include translating rider and operator needs into platform design decisions, leading technical reviews with suppliers and manufacturing partners, improving communication and sensor systems, and mentoring engineering teams. The role requires extensive experience with embedded and firmware systems at scale, C/C++ development, real-time systems, distributed IoT architecture, and complex field debugging.
