Intuitive is hiring a Staff Software Development Engineer to lead the technical development of embedded software for electrosurgical systems and robotic products used in minimally invasive surgery. The role involves developing software and firmware in C++, C, Verilog, and Python; processing energy data in real time; supporting manufacturing and testing; and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. Candidates need at least 12 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree, or 8 years of experience and a master’s degree, along with embedded systems, control systems, hardware bring-up, and medical-device industry experience.
