Description
Ford is hiring an Embedded Firmware Engineer to lead firmware development for distributed embedded systems used in battery management, charging, and motor-control applications. The role covers bare-metal and RTOS software, multicore architectures, power and safety requirements, ISO 26262 compliance, hardware and HIL testing, software profiling, and release readiness. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent, at least 8 years of embedded design experience, strong Embedded C skills, and experience with embedded architectures, debugging, and build infrastructure. The position is a Level 6 leadership role with a base salary of $150,200–$283,500, visa sponsorship available, and a hybrid work arrangement.
