Intuitive is hiring an embedded software engineer to develop and support mission-critical software for surgical robotic platforms. The role covers requirements gathering, cross-functional planning, hardware-software interfaces, prototyping, risk analysis, custom PCAs and FPGA IP, embedded software design, verification, and distributed multi-processor systems. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant technical field and at least 12 years of embedded systems experience, with C++ or C, real-time systems, embedded architectures, communication protocols, concurrency, and FPGA tools among the required skills.
