Stack is hiring a Staff Embedded Software Engineer to lead the design, development, validation, and maintenance of safety-critical embedded firmware for its autonomous vehicle platform. The role involves architecting real-time systems, developing hardware abstraction layers and BSPs, applying safety standards, mentoring team members, coordinating delivery, and supporting vehicle testing and field deployments. Candidates must be expert in C++ for safety-critical embedded systems, understand RTOS and automotive communication protocols, have experience with relevant safety standards, and have taken a product through production.
